Buffelsdrift Game Lodge is situated in the spectacular rolling hills of the Swartberg Mountain Range just off the famous Route 62 and only 6,5 km from Oudtshoorn on the route to the world-renowned Cango Caves. Part of the South African Garden Route & Klein Karoo, Buffelsdrift offers you an escape to something spectacular. Experience an array of wildlife including Cape Buffalo, Rhino, Giraffe, Hippo and over 200 bird species. We also offer African Bush safaris, meerkat safaris, lion feeding experiences with our lions that were born in captivity and feeding, walking & brushing encounters with our orphaned elephants.
Each of the 34 free-standing luxury tents offers beautiful views over the waterhole and to the Swartberg Mountains. 5 of these units are two bedroomed family tents. Simply and stylishly decorated, Buffelsdrift not only offers guests an authentic bushveld experience but the real comforts of luxury accommodation including an on-site spa, The Spa @ Buffelsdrift. Buffelsdrift also has 24hr on-site service, with friendly staff to cater for your every need.

Unfortunately we are not pet friendly, due to the fact that we have wild animals roaming around at the lodge.
No, unfortunately not, our tented accommodation is not self-catering, but we do have an A la Carte restaurant at the main lodge which can be used for Breakfast, Lunch and dinner.
Yes, we are open for day visitors to come and enjoy our restaurant and experience our activities, entrance at main gate is free.
